| Adams Park Cross Country Ski Outing |
MVG Outings: February 13th, 2010
Adams Park is a Nature Center in South Dakota that maintains groomed cross country ski trails for use by the public. Ski rentals are available at the park for $5.00 per day. Ms. Renee Begnoche, a talented nature photographer, has agreed to co-lead this outing with Bob Goetschkes. She will reserve and pick up cross country ski equipment for you, if needed and if contacted before February 8th at begturtle@yahoo.com . Please RSVP to bobbygoetschkes@hotmail.com or 402-614-4788 with your name, phone number, and email address. It is requested that a $1 donation be made to the Outings Program in order to support the ongoing training of Outings Leaders.

Join the Sierra Club as we explore some of the ways our community is becoming more energy efficient and sustainable. We’ll be hearing from three speakers who will share their insights into how to create sustainability at the campus, city, and state level: Kristi Wamstad-Evans, Omaha’s Sustainability Coordinator, Daniel Lawse, Metro Community College’s Coordinator of Sustainable Practices, and Ken Winston, NE Sierra Club lobbyist.
